Courses Overview

Global economies are continually evolving and businesses – particularly those that operate internationally – need guidance from managers and leaders who have the ability to apply economic reasoning to think independently about management issues. With a focus on developing critical analytical and quantitative skills, this programme prepares you for a wide variety of careers including, but not limited to: accountancy, banking and finance, general management, consultancy, digital technology and business analysis.

This programme examines today’s business issues analytically and critically. You will learn to question and evaluate information, develop informed arguments and communicate effectively with various stakeholders – all of which are valuable in fast-paced business settings. Placing a strong emphasis on social science theory and practice, the BSc Economics and Management programme provides a critical look into international management practice through an economic lens. The programme takes an applied approach to economics, and complementary disciplines, that will help you understand how organisations work and interact. You’ll learn to use relevant economic theory and reasoning to understand the evolution of industries and functioning of markets.
